They can be slow, difficult, and--if the level designers don't play their cards right--downright boring.
It doesn't hide its simplistic roots very well and the story is paper-thin, but it nevertheless provides quick, accessible fun for those who would normally be intimidated by your garden-variety, rat-infested dungeon crawl.
Playing as the elf Elli, you're tasked with plumbing the bowels of Mount Zharrkarag, where orcs have overrun a tribe of dwarves.
Of course, as orcs and elves pc gamestop fantasy template requires, there is greater evil afoot.
Accompanied by a talking wand named Ellon, you'll find yourself going back and forth between delving deeper into the mountain to slay beasts and returning to the top to barter for supplies with the resident dragon, Gaya.
What little plot progression there is presents itself through dialogue between Ellon and the ghosts of dwarves floating throughout the dungeons.
You'll also come across scattered notes to help fill out what happened before you arrived.
Ultimately, you're more likely to remember some choice interactions with an eternally drunken ghost as opposed to the lackluster plot.
It's slightly disappointing that there wasn't a little more put into the story, but the star of the show is really the streamlined first-person gameplay--especially the combat.
Combat is simply a matter of hitting the A button to attack with a melee or ranged weapon.
You can use the touch screen to access potions and other check this out with a few quick taps, and you'll need it to cast spells with Ellon by tapping runes in certain combinations, but it hardly feels like the menu-wading fare you might expect from other role-playing games.
Because of this, battles with even the most ferocious beasts don't last very long unless you happen to be surrounded.
Even in these cases, if you're well stocked with healing potions, the battles aren't overly difficult.
The game's challenge scales quite fairly, with the difference between victory and defeat being a matter of moving around and healing at the most appropriate moments as opposed where harrington raceway and casino restaurants was being at an insufficient experience level.
Each area of the mountain has a set amount of enemies anyway, which takes away any opportunity for hardcore level grinding.
This simply works in the game's favor by further emphasizing its quick pace.
Elli's quick movement speed and the compact level design make exploration pretty fast as well, but you'll want to slow down to hunt for secret doors by pressing up against certain walls to reveal goodies such as treasure chests and loose gold pieces.
The game charts hidden rooms and tells you immediately when you've found all of the secrets in an area.
Sadly, this takes away much of the challenge of hunting for secrets unless you consciously choose to avoid the map; the silver lining here is that there's little time wasted wandering around and hunting aimlessly.
After all, having more cash and exploring every inch of the mountain nets you more vicious weaponry.
There isn't a huge variety of weaponry that you can use, but everything is useful in certain situations.
You can upgrade your sword and crossbow a handful of times; you learn up to four spells for Ellon to cast; and there's a medusa scroll that turns your enemies into statues though, amusingly, you might point it in the wrong direction--at yourself--if you try using it while drunk.
All of these weapons are rendered at a decent resolution, though sadly they only have one orcs and elves pc gamestop two frames of animation.
Enemies are animated almost as sparsely, orcs and elves pc gamestop because they are two-dimensional sprites in a three-dimensional environment, what looks detailed and well-colored from afar becomes pixelated up close.
The same thing goes for walls, though you'll notice some creepy details that add to the ambience, such as maggots crawling around certain areas, and random corpses that you can slice to pieces.
While the visuals are passable, the real treat with this game's presentation is in the audio samples.
The clinking of gold pieces, skittering of monsters, and deliciously gory splattering of downed foes are all crisp and clear coming out of the DS speakers.
Make Elli drink a keg of dwarven ale, and you'll hear him groan nauseously orcs and elves pc gamestop the effects wear off.
Enemies like this one sound a lot more impressive than they look.
Going through the game from beginning to end can take you less than six hours, even if you spend a little time to hunt for secrets every now and again.
If you make it a point to defeat every monster, find every single secret, and explore the levels a little more after you've completed the game, it's possible to extend this further, but it's very likely that before the 10-hour slot and 75020 you'll have seen all that there is to see.
An extra area or two, as well as a few more weapons and spells, would have rounded out the experience nicely.
It makes no bones about what it is, and as such will satisfy anyone who wants to slay ugly monsters and collect loot during their commute without getting lost, dying countless times, or fumbling through menus.

Hello, Well this place is my last chance to find this game.
It was for Orcs and elves pc gamestop i think around yr 2000.
It was a strategy you had two sides, humans and aliens of some sort.
The humans had tanks jeep's and such and aliens had these huge two legged robots with rocket launchers.
The graphics was kinda cartoony.
The thing i remember the most is the audio that would play on the main menu, it said "Shall we play again?
Anyone knows the name?
Anyone got any idea about this game.
You walked through the mansion and shot Frankenstein, bats, witches and traveled outside into the garden labyrinth to shoot skeletons that shot back at you.
Then you went into the stone court yard and shot at gargoyles.
It had other levels where you shot at harder to kill witches.
You collected healing potions.
And you could change out your guns for a magic wand.
I used to waste SOOO many hours on this game and I was thinking about it that other day and I can't remember what is was actually called.
I think it might have come with my windows computer back in the day.
Does anyone remember this or know the name?
I wonder if you can still play it anywhere?
Posted this before but no luck : thought I'd try again.
I can't recall one game on SNES.
I dont remeber its name.
I only remember that there was a guy who lost his glasses, and we were searching for it.
Also there was mission in bird nest.
I think one of the character was devil and there were mazes before bird nest.
Hi, I've got an old pc game that I'd like to get a hold of too.
It's an RPG style game, where the main man is an adult man who had the power to turn into beasts, namely a lizard and a "big red thing" and it's set in a world with similar styles to morrowind, with a roman-like army as bad guys that are hunting you.
I remember this one part in the game where you are in a dark cave or corridor with skeletons, and very time you picked up the skeletons key they attacked you.
I'm not sure if they were sequels or if it was the same game on multiple discs, but I remember there being more than one disc of the game.
Only other things I can remember is that one of the bottom corners always showed his face, constantly blinking, talking and reacting, and his face changed from human to lizard and monster whenever he transformed.
Hope this is enough for someone to go on, I've literally searched for it in every way I can think of.
This one sounds like Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destinty A racing game.
You could for example drive cars, boats, helicopters, tractors?
You could choose a driver; one of them was black and one had a mohawk.
It had blocky 3d graphics and was probably made in the early 2000s.
A first person adventure game I once played that starts you out in a yellow sandstone maze and later opens up into a courtyard with a small fire.
This was an older game, probably Win 98, that I downloaded a demo for.
Attacks were made with mousestrokes across the screen to slash with your sword.
I remember it kinda reminded me of TES but wasn't TES.
Well, I'm looking for a game.
I used to play in the 90's.
It was in 3D, there was a combat plane, there was different views, one of them allow you to play like if you were inside the plane, the other one allowed you to see the whole plane.
You were assigned to missions and you have to destroy the objectives, generally located in the mountains, if you were detected another aircrafts would attack as well as some weapons around the objective.
I remember there was one objective called tundra.
You could change your weapons and get some as you complete your mission.
I don't remember if it was a demo, but I think it was around the mechwarrior and havoc times.
Plz need your help.
This one might test your collective knowledge.
There was one in particular, it was The Sims like.
It showed a house halved, and a guy lived inside it.
You basically told him what to do.
You made him mow the lawn, made him go to the bathroom, made him feed the dog, made him watch tv, made him go to bed.
I don't remember the name of it.
The I remember playing this game whenever I went to my cousin's house but can't for the life of me find what it is.
It had SNES type graphics.
It is a futuristic?
I believe the view was isometric.
I can't remember if it was turn-based or not or had fog-of-war.
I believe the game you are looking for is Herzog Zwei.
THANKS my english sucks, sorry about that was that an RPG like Ultima, Wizardry or Eye Of The Beholder?
Oke so, this is driving me crazy.
I remember playing an RTS game, medieval theme, all orcs and elves pc gamestop units were like cartoonish with big heads, and i remember it being a really hard and complex game.
You had to build and manage your village, collect materials, make food, and have your people eat in some canteen.
You had people with different professions for each building butcher, carpenter, armorer, smelter and they would not do their job if hungry.
You had to constantly make sure you had food and materials.
Eventually you build an army to destroy an enemy, but had to be careful as your army would get hungry too and peasants had to bring them food by hand.
I remember fighting barbarians with double sided axes and multiples enemies allied at once.
HELP xD Cheers Hi there.
I am looking for a ps2 game where the game cover had a screaming while he stretched his hands through a prison cell door.
Does anyone know what this game is called?
I know this is not a lot of information but there was a game for I think the ps2 or Gamecube and it was a game where you played as an orange animal and it was a platformer but you could also attack things and I think it village inn and casino reno a sequel where you could upgrade things like your claws.
I miss this game so much and I can't remember it PLEASE HELP!
There was an Arcade game where a monkey shoots bubbles from his mouth, he have to source a princess, it was an action game, can anyone help with the name of this game.
You also got a base with people defending it.
I couldn't remember if ur player was a cop or not.
Anyway you could climb buildings with the rope shooting.
Fly jets ride motorcycles drive cars, shoot everything.
Can anyone help me with the name of this game?
Sounds a lot like either Just Cause 1 or 2.
I remember playing this game a long time ago but I can't seem to remember it's name.
It's game 2D game about cars racing on a grid I think.
I think the game was for PC.
I used to play a good LAN version simply called "Light Bikes".
You'll have to do a bit of Google-fu, but hopefully this puts you on the right tracks.
Hi guys, could you please help me?
I think the game is from the 90s.
There were bigger balls that were divided into smaller new ones when the shot hit them.
You also needed to avoid touching that bouncing balls in order to stay alive.
The game had 2D platform graphics, I guess the commands were left and right arrow movimentation and spacebar shoot button.
It was only possible to shoot up.
I remember that I loved to play this game when I was younger.
It was a simple game but pretty challenging.
Do you know which game is this?
Sounds like Pang, or a clone.
I need some help finding a game I played on my PC.
The game was kind of dark and medieval, also realistic.
The game should have been made between 2000-2010.
I have already ruled out Diablo 123, God of War.

Hi all, I desperately need help, this is the pc game with cd and 3d as I remember from the first person and, perhaps, years 1996-1999.
I think the introduction to the story goes, address or letter from someone who reads the main character of the strange events or murder site but I'm not sure I'm considering Egypt as a desert location with hangars for planes like those!
The main character of the place comes from an airplane or parachute, and sets out to explore the place, into the hangar repair generator finds a secret room and mine to rail, which is the number of levels.
I am convinced that was the name of a mummy or something but I could not find it.
If anyone has an idea that it could be a game I would ask for a response to PMS or here.
Hey, trying to remember a VERY OLD PC game from what I only imagine was the early 90s, but quite possibly the 80s.
From what I do remember it was the same sort of thing as Micro machines ie a racing sim.
One of the options in the dialogue when it turned sour was a Monty Python quote - Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries.
IIRC it was a very small game yet both my brother and I remember go here very vaguely - we can't even both agree if there was an actual racing element to it.
All suggestions will be helpful, thanks in advance!
I know this is kind of a shot in the dark but here it is.
I remember this game I don't know for sure from which year does it date I played it about article source years ago.
It was set in mediveal times and it was a fantasy 2d rpg game from the top view so you would move around the map until the fight starts kinda like final fantasy it was turn-based.
I remember that orcs and elves pc gamestop at the start you were in a camp in the forest and you had to go through a path and then you were attacked by a spider like monster which was quite hard to kill.
Somwhere through the game you would pick up other charachters and form a gang.
Don't take me for this but i think when they die they would like die forever.
The part I a rembeber the most is when you were in a kingdom of somekind the king or Lord or queen let's just say the ruler announced a competition of somekind where they hid something in a for or a castle and 2 groups had to go in to find it.
You read article entered the castle and begin the search i think the item was a key.
I remember it had some kind of cutscenes and I think the main plot was about rescuing a girl.
I would appracite it if somoene could respond with any kind of soulution it would mean a world to me you can message me or respond here thanks in advance.

It was a Sega Genesis game.
I'm quite sure you played as a human and the most distinct thing I remember was these enemies.
They were green, if I'm not mistaken rolling heads.
If anybody can tell me, my life would be complete.

I was amazed by how much I liked this game.
I initially purchased this for a two-fold reason: Orcs and elves pc gamestop got great reviews on various websites, and it was cheap.
When I got it, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the game.
Though the graphics are aging, the game holds up well.
It's short, but satisfying.
The story surprised me by being quite in-depth and even containing a twist I hadn't expected.
This game even sports one of those "Annoying but you can't help but love them anyway" side-kick characters.
Ellon, your talking wand, starts out a bit patronizing and annoying, but by the end of the game, he's endeared himself to you in spite of it.
Most games of this nature I play orcs and elves pc gamestop once and then they sit collecting dust until I trade them in for five cents at gamestop.
This one, I have a feeling is going to be one I revisit periodically, whenever I need a dose of good old rpg.
When I saw "ID Software" as the game launched, my opinion of this splurge purchase went up.
I knew it was an old-style dungeon romp, which could have been good or bad, but ID usually has good level designs.
It's turn-based, but simple to click article source 5 turns in a second.
The level designs are great so far.
Many varied monsters, and interesting bosses and missions.
All in all, an absorbing game so far.
Don't go into this expecting it to https://agohome.ru/and/dr-gamez-illinois-bone-and-joint.html an "action" video game at all.
It's pure turn-based strategy.
While parts of it can be a bit laborious, overall it's a fun experience.
I first off give this game 5 stars its very challenging game and very easy to play not too confusing either?
If you don't listen to a Wizard to what symbols to press on a certain blue door a few times wrong an not the same sequence as told by this Wizard to go you do die and game starts over again?
Monsters and others ones rats etc come right at you very fast!!
Making a decision on what course of action is a wise one and what weapons to use well over all I had so much fun!
With this game funny it was on the iPhone many years back now on the Nintendo ds well kinda resembles Lodge and leelanau casino game but no gun just slash em up hack em up or use the magical wand well again I highly recommend this game not boring at all and quite challenging as well.
Well thank you for reading my review I hope it helps if your going buy this games I highly recommend because you will not get bored so very fun!
And lastly quite challenging too!

i used to play games with this same gameplay format when first person hack and slash games were popular. im suprised there are not more DS games with this format. i enjoyed this game and now you can get it for a ncie price. if this company is going to make a sequel to this game i would give the ability to have characters join you in on your journey. also, make the gameplay and story more in.

Hello, Well this place is my last chance to find this game.
It was for PC i think around yr 2000.
Also there was mission confirm. william hill casino bonus terms and conditions opinion bird nest.
I remember playing an RTS game, medieval theme, all your units were like cartoonish with big heads, and i remember it being a really hard and complex game.
Would love to remember what game this was.
HELP xD Cheers Hi there.
I am looking for a ps2 game where the game cover had a screaming while he stretched his hands through a prison cell door.
Does anyone know what this game is called?
I know this is not a lot of information but there was a game for I think the ps2 or Gamecube and it was a game where you played as an orange animal and it was a platformer but you could also attack things and I think it had a sequel where you could upgrade things like your claws.
I miss this game so much and I can't remember it PLEASE HELP!
There was an Arcade game where a monkey shoots bubbles from his mouth, he have to rescue a princess, it was an action game, can anyone help with the name of this game.
The game had 2D platform graphics, I guess orcs and elves pc gamestop commands were left and right arrow movimentation and spacebar shoot button.
It was only possible to shoot up.
I remember that I loved to play this game when I was younger.
It was a simple game but pretty challenging.

IIRC it was a very small game yet both my brother and I remember it very vaguely - we can't even both agree if there was an actual racing element to it.
All suggestions will be helpful, thanks in advance!
I know this is kind of a shot in the dark but here it is.
I remember this game I don't know for sure from which year does it date I played it about 7 years ago.
It was set in mediveal times and it was a fantasy 2d rpg game orcs and elves pc gamestop the top view so you would move around the map until the fight starts kinda like final fantasy it was turn-based.
I remember that somwhere at the start you were in a camp in the forest check this out you had to go through a path and then you were attacked by a spider like monster which was quite hard to kill.
Somwhere through the game you would pick up other charachters and form a gang.
Don't take me for this but i think when they die they would like die forever.
The part I a rembeber the most is when you were in a kingdom of somekind the king or Lord or and leelanau lodge casino let's just say the ruler announced a competition of somekind where they hid something in a for or a castle and 2 groups had to go in to find it.
You then entered the castle and begin the search i think the item was a key.
I remember it had some kind of cutscenes and I think the main plot was about rescuing a girl.
I would appracite it if somoene could respond with any kind of soulution it would mean a world to me you can message me or respond here thanks in advance.

It sounds alot like dantes inferno but I didn't know they realeased it for PC Okay, don't know if anybody can get this.
It was a Sega Genesis game.
I'm quite sure you played as a human and the most distinct thing I remember was these enemies.
They were green, if I'm not mistaken rolling heads.
If anybody can tell me, my life would be complete.
Ok, so there is that one playstation 1 demo disc that I https://agohome.ru/and/dinner-and-crime-casino-velden.html like ages ago and can't find anywhere on the net now.
So this is my last resort basicly, hopefuly someone reads this and finds it for me.
So the game I played is basicly a robot game, top orcs and elves pc gamestop down view, the multiplayer mode was you had your base and "minions" small tanks that went from your base to enemy and you were a robot that could switch from walker mode to tank mode.
It had a pretty good graphics for all I remember xD On that disc there was also the Ecco the dolphin and Mahjong game.
I don't really remember the rest of them, my friend says there was a racing game too in there, I don't remember.
The CD itself had a soundtracks also.
The CD might be from 1998.
Anyway, if any of you guys have the answer which CD that was, I'll find you some day and give you a hug cuz this is one thing I will never remember, this game was simply awesome and it made my childhood.

I remember it had some kind of cutscenes and I think the main plot was about rescuing a girl.
I would appracite it if somoene could respond with any kind of soulution it would mean a world to me you can message me or respond here thanks in advance.
I need some help finding a game I played on my PC.
The game was kind of dark and medieval, also realistic.
The game should have been made between 2000-2010.
I have already ruled out Diablo 123, God of War.
Ok, so there is that one playstation 1 demo disc that I had like ages ago and can't find anywhere on the net now.
So this is my last resort basicly, hopefuly someone reads this and finds it for me.
So the game I played is basicly a robot game, top - down view, the multiplayer mode was you had your base and "minions" small tanks that went from your base to enemy and you were a robot that could switch from walker mode to tank mode.

I know the description of the game but I cannot remember the game.
I think you could also play cooperative campaing I know the description of the game but I cannot remember the game.
I think you could also play cooperative campaing Yea, I meant coop, not mp.
Man if there is anyone out there who remembers the name.
I know this is kind of a shot in the dark but here it is.
I remember this game I don't know for sure from which year does it date I played it about 7 years ago.
It was set in mediveal times and it was a fantasy 2d rpg game from the top view so you would move around the map until the fight starts kinda like final fantasy it was turn-based.
I remember that somwhere at the start you were in a camp in the forest and you had to go through a path and then you were attacked by a spider like monster which was quite hard to kill.
Somwhere through the game you would pick up other charachters and form a gang.
Don't take me for this but i think when they die they would like die forever.

Orcs & Elves is no revolution. It's Western role-playing the way it used to be - hidden passages, mountains of gold, dead dwarves and a temperamental dragon. It's perfect fodder for the geek in you, and a half-an-hour train ride, but don't expect it to rock your world.
